Hank Aaron burglar sentenced to 50 years in prison

Baseball legend, Hank Aaron's southwest Atlanta home was burglarized on July 14th while he and his wife were out of town. Isiah Slaton, 24, was caught as well as two co-defendants. Slaton has been sentenced to 50 years! A Fulton County Georgia Superior judge sentenced Isiah Slaton to eight years and prison and forty two years probation.

The three amigos trashed Aaron's house and stole jewelry, including baseball rings that were intended to be donated to the Hall of Fame. The thieves get away car were two of Aaron's BMW's that were later recovered. Hank stated that he felt violated by the break in and that his stolen items were "priceless".  And he is right, he is a baseball god.

The other two criminals who assisted Slaton have not been sentenced yet.
