A 17-year-old boy is recovering after being shot while sitting on a front porch on the city's east side.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at 12808 Farringdon.
Cleveland Police Officers say the victim was visiting a friend when the suspect approached them and started a conversation.
The suspect then walked away, turned around and began firing.
The teenager was hit in the arm and managed to run home. He is now being treated at MetroHealth Hospital.
Both the victim and his friend tell police they don't know the suspect, who remains on the loose.
The Fourth District Detective Bureau is investigating this incident and asking that anyone with information please contact the bureau at 216-623-5418.
