Cleveland State University and the Campus District welcome the Gay Games 9 (GG9) August 9-16.
Basketball, swimming and housing for athletes will be hosted by CSU.
The nearby Gay Games Festival Village serves as the hub for all GG9 participants, their friends and families, spectators and members of the general public.
The Village is located in Downtown Cleveland near Mall C, across the street from the new Cleveland Convention Center where Gay Games accreditation, volleyball and table tennis will be.
The Village will be open from 2 p.m. to midnight.
A10-hour dance party will feature internationally known, New York City-based DJ/producer Joe Gauthreaux with local DJs Saint and Glisten, plus surprise performances, produced in conjunction with the AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland, an affiliate of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation.
The Village is scheduled to be open additional times this week:
Tuesday, August 12, from 4 to 11 p.m. Headliner: Bright Light Bright Light
Friday, August 15, from 4 p.m. to midnight. Headliner: Ana Matronic
