Well, almost! We are still seeing a gray and dreary start to our work week with mostly cloudy skies, dew points in the mid to upper 60s and rain chances sticking around throughout the day. After this past weekend, we can really use some good news in the forecast. I'm here to let you know, the sun will be making its triumphant return shortly.
Monday will see mostly cloudy skies as temperatures climb into the lower 80s across the upstate and upper 70s in western North Carolina. Scattered showers will be possible throughout the morning and afternoon with a chance of a thunderstorm being included as well.
Tuesday will see more of a mix of sun and clouds with rain chances slowly diminishing into the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be warmer, peaking in the lower to mid-80s. Wednesday is our day, as sunny skies return and temperatures will be just 2 degrees below normal for mid-August.
Pleasant weather will last into the weekend which is very welcoming news after the past two weekends have been plagued with rain chances. Soon we will feel like summer once again!
