GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - The Cellular Station phone store in Garfield Heights has been burglarized twice in two weeks, first on July 24, and then again on August 6. The crimes have made life difficult for store owner Ron Hanzel.
"It is super frustrating, I am trying to raise a small family and this is just a mom and pop business," Hanzel said.
Three suspects were seen on the in-store surveillance cameras breaking in with bricks and taking as many phones as they could carry. The loss is estimated at $7,000 in stolen cell phones which makes up about 75 percent of the store's inventory.
One of the suspects has tattoos on both his arms and a brace on his right wrist. The get away vehicle is believed to be a silver and red Ford conversion van with flared fenders and a ladder on the back.
All three suspects remain at large.
Garfield Heights Police are asking if you have any information to contact them at 216-475-6607 or the Detective Bureau at 216-475-5686.
