Marshawn Lynch cleared in "incident"

Running back Marshawn Lynch of the Seattle Seahawks has officially been cleared of any involvement in the incident that allegedly took place on August 10th. The Bellevue Police Department has released a statement on Wednesday night confirming the report.

The BPD statement said, "The Bellevue Police Department has determined that Marshawn Lynch was not involved in this incident in any way. This case remains an open and active investigation. We appreciate the cooperation we have received from Mr. Lynch and the Seahawks organization during this investigation."

Previously the PD had announced that Lynch was under investigation for allegedly being involved in "assault and personal property damage."

The Seahawks organization felt that Lynch was not guilty in any way from the start, and even released a statement saying the allegations were "bogus." The statement read "While we maintain the utmost respect for the investigative process, after speaking with Marshawn, we are comfortable these accusations are bogus."

Coach Pete Carroll did mention you would see some action from Lynch on the field during the preseason game against the San Diego Chargers.
