The number of unemployed has decreased by 110,000 in the past 12 months from 433,000. The July unemployment rate for Ohio was down from 7.5 percent in July 2013.
The U.S. unemployment rate for July was 6.2 percent, up from 6.1 percent in June, and down from 7.3 percent in July 2013.
