A gas leak at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center was fixed Tuesday afternoon.
Cleveland Firefighters were called to the hospital on East Boulevard around 11:00 a.m., after construction crews hit a six-eight inch gas main.
The air intake units at the hospital were immediately turned off, so no patients needed to leave; however, several nearby businesses were evacuated for a short time.
Three fire companies and an EMS unit responded to the scene.
Dominion crews were able to seal the leak and everything went back to normal around 12:30 p.m.
There were no injuries.
