Recap: Indians defeat Twins in shut out fashion, wins 5-0

The Cleveland Indians took on the Minnesota Twins in Minnesota tonight. T.J House took the mound for the Tribe, and the Twins turned to Ricky Nolasco to help get them out of their three game skid.

Zach Walters put the Tribe up early with a two-out home run to right-center, putting the Indians up 1-0.

The Tribe kept it going two innings later in the fourth where Carlos Santana hit a double to deep right. Jason Kipnis followed him up by also hitting a double to deep right, Santana scores 2-0. Kipnis advanced to third on a wild pitch. Mike Aviles singles to center, Kipnis scores 3-0 Tribe.

Bottom 6th- Twins threatened with 2 on-1 out. Chen-Chang Lee came in to relief T.J. House to get the final 2 outs with no damage done. Score remains 3-0 Tribe.

Top 7th- Chris Dickerson singles to right. Caleb Thielbar in for Nolasco for the Twins. Michael Bourn singles to center, Dickerson scores. 4-0 Tribe.

Top 9th- Mike Aviles gets his third hit of the game in home run fashion putting the Tribe up 5-0.

Indians win 5-0.

T.J. House receives the win(2-3)

Ricky Nolasco receives the loss(5-9).
