New details regarding the case of a Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Judge facing felonious assault charges.
On Tuesday, a visiting judge denied a motion for a special prosecutor to hear Judge Lance Mason's case.
Mason's lawyers wanted the special prosecutor, to avoid having one from Cuyahoga County.
Mason is accused of attacking his wife while they were riding in a car on August 2.
According to Shaker Heights Police Officers, Mason punched his wife in the face several times, choked and bit her.
Mason was also indicted Tuesday on two counts of kidnapping, three counts of felony assault, domestic violence and child endangering.
Mason remains out on bond and is scheduled to be arraigned on September 10.
