With unseasonably warm temperatures, many folks in Cleveland have mixed emotions about the heat wave.
In Garfield Heights residents beat the heat with something called Emma's lemonade stand set up at City Hall. At the Air Show on the lake front where some 100,000 visitors are expected over the holiday weekend, spectators looked for shade and drank lots of water.
At the Soap Box Race Track along Lake Shore Drive, the weather was perfect for racing, not too hot and not too humid with a cool breeze blowing for the 16 races that were held.
The average high for this time of year is about 79 degrees but today the temperature was about 10 degrees above that. Apparently there is no relief in sight with the forecast calling for temperatures in the mid 80's for the next seven days.
