FAIRVIEW PARK, OH (WOIO) - A 14-year-old boy is accused of leading several police agencies on a high speed chase.
It started just after midnight on Saturday, August 30.
A Bay Village Police Officer attempted to stop the vehicle on Wolf Road, in front of Bay Square, but the driver did not stop and after turning south bound onto Dover Center, drastically increased its speed.
Officers say when the teen driver crossed the railroad tracks, his vehicle became airborne.
The Bay Village Police Officer decreased his speed to get over the tracks safely and Westlake Police
picked up the chase.
The teen was pulled over a short time later in Fairview Park.
He is now facing criminal charges from both Westlake and Bay Village Police.
