TWINSBURG, OH (WOIO) - Two suspects arrested for destroying or damaging over 30 mailboxes in Twinsburg. Both were busted Monday, September 1 and face criminal damaging charges.
Gabriel T. Phillips, 19, resides on Oak Park Boulevard in Garfield Heights, was charged with a second degree misdemeanor of criminal damaging. He is currently in solon City Jail on a $350 cash bond and is scheduled for a video arraignment.
Mitchell G. Durkee, 20, of Laurel Drive in Twinsburg, was also charged with criminal damaging, a second degree misdemeanor. He posted a $350 cash bond and must appear in Stow Municipal Court on September 5 for arraignment.
Additional charges may follow for both suspects.
According to the Twinsburg Police Facebook Page, "Arresting persons and forcing accountability in any crimes that affect our community instills confidence and pride in both our residents and the members of TPD. It also sends a strong message to those who would consider criminal activity in the future that members of the Twinsburg Police Department are capable and willing to bring to justice those who would disrupt the safety and security of our neighborhoods."
