CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH (WOIO) - Cuyahoga Falls police are getting a search warrant for Jeffery Conrad, the ex-boyfriend of murder victim Amanda Russell.
Police are calling Conrad a person of interest in Russell's homicide investigation.

The Summit County Medical Examiner says Russell was stabbed multiple times in her neck and torso.
Russell's daughter found her mom's body when she got home from school around 3:30 p.m. and called her grandmother, who told her to call 911. The grandmother called, as well.
When police arrive on scene the teen bravely leads them to her mom's body.

Russell had a restraining order against him. In total, Russell's ex-boyfriend spent 100 days in jail for 2012 and 2014 convictions. He got out of jail in July.
BCI and police are still investigating. Russell's ex-boyfriend has been charged with felonious assault for an unrelated incident at Euclid Beach.
