ESPN analyst Merrill Hoge made it known Wednesday that he is not a fan of Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback, Johnny Manziel.
Hoge made an appearance on 102.5 WDVE in Pittsburgh on Wednesday morning and buried the Browns rookie quarterback. Hoge made the remark that Manziel "has no business" playing in the NFL right now. "If you're the Steelers defense you want No. 2 to walk out on that field. You want him on that field," he added.
Hoge ripped the Browns for taking Manziel with the 22nd pick in this years draft " He really had no business being drafted in the first round" Hoge stated. Despite not even starting in the week 1 match up against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Manziel is catching a lot of attention from media.
In a press conference Wednesday, Browns coach Mike Pettine did not say whether Manziel will play or not. Manziel was 30-of-59 for 296 yards and two touchdowns, he added 88 yards rushing on 12 attempts with one touchdown in the preseason.
