BAY VILLAGE, OH (WOIO) -

Cleveland's own Drew Carey is offering a reward to help police find whoever was responsible for a cruel prank, in which a group of teens poured a bucket of feces and urine on a classmate with autism, as part of a fake ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

Bay Village Police were notified after the video was posted on Instagram.

The outraged community has responded in a big way to show its support for the 14-year-old boy.

A couple days after the incident, Bay Village Schools released a statement to students, parents, staff and community members:

Dear Bay Village students, parents, staff and community members:

Many of our students and staff members have been participating in fundraising for ALS through the Ice Bucket Challenge. It hurts us deeply to see such a wonderful effort twisted to deliberately cause someone pain.

We are supporting our Bay Village Police Department as they vigilantly work to complete their investigation in this case.

In an effort to show that the community will not tolerate bullying, a group gathered in the front of Bay Village High School for a vigil before a Friday night football game.

On Saturday, Drew Carey tweeted:

If the Bay Village PD wants to start a reward fund to find who did this, contact me. I'll donate $10k.

So far, no charges have been filed. School officials say no disciplinary action will be taken until after police have completed their investigation.
