There's a stunning twist in a shooting that took place in the Warehouse District back in July.

No charges will be filed despite more than a dozen shots, and one woman getting injured, during a massive celebration in the street.

The triggerman will get away with firing shots on West 9th Street as Clevelanders flooded the streets, celebrating the return of LeBron James. Someone fired about 15 rounds at someone or into the ground. An 18-year-old was hit in the ankle.

Cleveland Police had a suspect, but we've learned the witness identifying the gunman has backed off her story and stopped cooperating, leaving the investigation at a dead end.

Even with all those people around, nobody saw enough to get justice for wild gunfire that could have easily turned deadly.
