Undefeated boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr. said Tuesday that he will fight for the final time in 2015.
37 year-old, Floyd "Money" Mayweather's six-fight contract with Showtime/CBS will likely end in September of next year, Mayweather typically schedules his fights in the months of May and September. He is only halfway through his deal that is worth more than $200 million.
The best pound-for-pound fighter will fight two more fights after this Saturdays bout against former titleholder, Marcos Maidana.
"I only got two more fights left (after Saturday) and after the next two fights I just want to build the Mayweather Promotions brand," Mayweather said during a roundtable with reports on Tuesday. Mayweather is looking forward to working with young fighters.
The fight everyone wanted to see for years with Manny Pacquiao may sadly never happen, and for various reasons.
Floyd Mayweather is 46-0 with 26 KOs.
