Authorities say Willis was located safely by law enforcement in Pittsburgh, PA.

A Missing Adult Alert has been issued by the Ashtabula County Sheriff Office for the following regions: Central & East Lakeshore, Youngstown, East Central Ohio, Upper Ohio Valley, which includes the following counties: Ashtabula, Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Cuyahoga, Erie, Geauga, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Huron, Jefferson, Lake, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Monroe, Noble, Portage, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, Tuscarawas, and Wayne.

Authorities are asking the public to keep an eye out for 80-year-old Wilmer Willis, who was last seen leaving from his residence on Stanley Road in the city of Orwell on Friday, September 12, around 1 p.m.  Willis was said to be on his way to St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, OH but he never arrived.

Willis is a described as a white male, standing 5'11'' tall, weighing 160 lbs., with brown hair, and blue eyes. There is no clothing description available.

Willis suffers from dementia and other medical conditions.

The vehicle involved is a light blue 2001 Ford Taurus with OH plate number COZ1448. 

Officers are asking anyone with information or who may have seen Willis or his car to call 9-1-1 or 1-866-693-9171 to be transferred directly to the investigating law enforcement agency or to hear the alert information.
