Shaker Heights bank robbed by armed man

Around 10:14 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, a gloved and masked lone male robbed the Huntington Bank located at 20601 Fairmont Blvd. in Shaker Heights.

The armed robber used a silver semiautomatic pistol and to demand money from the teller.

According to Cleveland FBI, the suspect pointed the pistol at the teller and told them "to hurry up with the money".

Authorities say that no one was injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, possible in his 40's, approximately 5'9, medium build, with a deep voice. He was wearing a navy blue kango hat (fishing hat), navy blue jacket with white trim on collar and sleeves, white logo on Left breast, brown cover over mouth and nose, light sky blue nylon workout pants with white stripe down legs.

No one witnessed the direction in which the suspect fled.

Tips can be provided to the Shaker Heights Police Department or the Cleveland Division of the FBI. Tips can remain anonymous. Reward money is available for information leading to an arrest.
