Barrett's six TD's highlight Buckeye blow out of Kent State

Freshman J.T. Barrett tied a school record with six touchdown passes to lead Ohio State past Kent State 66-0. Barrett left the game after their first series in the second half, by then the Buckeyes held a 52-0 lead. Barrett also became the first OSU quarterback to pass for 300 yards since Troy Smith did it against Michigan in 2006.

Ohio State put up 628 yards of total offense, Kent State mustered only 126.

Curtis Samuel rushed for 100 yards on 15 carries, he added 40 more yards on four catches.

The win lifted the Buckeyes to 2-1 on the season, they are off next week and host the Cincinnati Bearcats on the 27th.
