LAKEWOOD, OH (WOIO) - Another dangerous criminal is off the streets after the US Marshals captured Wesley Daley Jr. on Tuesday.
Daley was wanted by the U.S. Marshals, the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department and the Lakewood Police Department. Daley was wanted on dozens of charges, including felonious assault and attempted murder with a firearm. This stems from two separate incidents in early June, when Daley allegedly discharged a firearm into two moving vehicles. A total of four people were injured, including a 7-year-old female.
He was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, in the 2000 block of West 47th Street in Cleveland.
The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force got a tip that Daley was staying at a home in the area. Marshals entered the home and arrested Daley and two others, Darion Brown and Bruce Carrington. They recovered two handguns and several rounds of ammo. All three were taken to the Cuyahoga County Jail.
