Akron police investigate home invasion over the weekend

AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

Officers in Akron responded to a home invasion robbery in the 600 block of Euclid Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

The 41-year-old male resident and three male friends told police three men, armed with handguns, entered the house through an unlocked back door. 

The suspects pointed guns at the victims and demanded they get down on the floor. 

The suspects then took the victims' cell phones, cash, and car keys before fleeing the residence.  No one was injured.

Officers found some of the victims' cell phones and a wallet in the 600 block of Fern Street.

The suspects are described as three black males wearing black masks and black hooded sweatshirts.
