The suspect was pursued on foot by North Ridgeville Police Officers and the area was cordoned off by members of the Lorain County Sheriff's Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
After an extended chase, the male was apprehended by the Lorain County Sheriff's Office and the North Ridgeville Police.
