A 14-year-old boy remains hospitalized Thursday, after allegedly leading Cleveland Metropolitan Housing Authority Police on a car chase Wednesday evening.

The chase ended in a crash.

Besides the driver, four other juveniles were in the car. The other passengers have been treated and released.

CMHA Police noticed a Dodge full of juveniles driving erratically, and became suspicious. When the driver noticed police, he sped up.

Officers then followed the car, and flipped on their lights and sirens to perform a traffic stop around East 65th Street and Broadway Avenue.

The car took off, and police pursued. The car traveled westbound down Broadway Avenue and cut through a gas station to turn down East 55th.

Shortly after the suspects crashed the car near East 55th Street and Bessemer Avenue.

Charges are pending.
