MAPLE HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - 19 Action News has learned that the suspect in a Maple Heights bank robbery is the son of a Walton Hills city councilman.
Teddy Linville, son of councilman Denny Linville, has been identified as the person accused of committing a robbery on September 16 at the 6134 Dunham Road branch of Huntington Bank.
During the incident Linville stated he had a bomb and was holding an object that appeared to be an explosive device.
Linville eventually was taken into custody near Rockside and Lee Rd.
Although the device referenced as a bomb looked realistic, the Southeast Area Law Enforcement Hazardous Device Unit (HDU) determined it to be a fake.
Linville was charged with aggravated robbery, a felony of the 1st degree, and is currently being held at the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office.
No one was injured during the incident.
