ISIS tweets Kent State journalism students

KENT, OH (WOIO) -

During a journalism conference at Kent State today, ISIS tweeted the students using their conference hashtag, #ksuethics14.

KSU journalism students were at the conference discussing ethics and covering terrorism, when ISIS tweeted them their most recent video of a hastag.

ISIS, under the twitter handle @Islamic_State10 tweeted: #IslamicState #ISIS LEND ME YOUR EARS Message British Detainee youtube.com/watch?v=gl3eWX....#ReplaceAWordinAti #ksuethics14 #ThinkContent.

KSU Spokesperson Eric Mansfield told 19 Action News that the tweet made an impact on the students and staff.

We're speaking with Journalism Director Thor Wasbotten tonight and will have more at 10 on WUAB and after Thursday Night Football on WOIO.
