Akron: Heated debate over money leads to shooting on Cluster Ave.

AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

On September 18 around 12:30 p.m., Akron Officers responded to a call for a shooting in the 300 block of Cluster Avenue.

The victim, a 43-year-old female, told police that she was shot in the leg after a verbal altercation with a friend.

Authorities say the heated conversation was over money.

EMS transported the victim to Akron City Hospital with what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.

Officers located the suspect,an Akron man named Timothy David Addie II, 18, of Cluster Ave.

He was found on Elinor Avenue.

Addie was taken into custody and charged with felonious assault, having weapons while under disability and improperly discharging a firearm and was booked into the Summit County Jail.
