$3 million bond for man who tried to commit suicide after allegedly killing his ex-wife

The man who tried to commit suicide after Cleveland Police say he killed his ex-wife, was back in court Wednesday.

Hugo Ramo's bond was set at $3 million.

Ramos, 28, first appeared in court last week, after being released from MetroHealth Hospital. The judge ordered psychiatric treatment and set the next court date for October 2.

Ramos survived a bizarre suicide attempt in Lorain County September 15, when he walked in front of a semi, drank gasoline and set himself on fire. His three young children were witnesses.

Ramos then allegedly told troopers where they could find his ex-wife.

Troopers and Cleveland Police went to Glorimar Ramos-Perez's, 25, Newark Avenue home and found her body.

Ramos was indicted Thursday on aggravated murder, kidnapping, felonious assault, domestic violence and endangering children charges.
