SOUTH EUCLID, OH (WOIO) -

Four juveniles were arrested after a massive street fight in South Euclid on Sunday.

Police say shortly after 3 p.m., an officer on patrol saw about 30 juveniles fighting on the sidewalk in front of the South Euclid Cafe. The disturbance then spilled onto Mayfield Road, briefly blocking traffic at the Mayfield and South Green intersection.

Due to the large size of the crowd and the difficulty dispersing it, additional officers were requested, including mutual aid from Lyndhurst Police.

Upon arrival, the individuals fighting, as well as a large number of onlookers, scattered in all directions. Police say several ran into Giant Eagle, where they continued the fight inside the store, nearly striking several customers.

After running from Giant Eagle, police say three suspects were found in the parking lot of Walgreens, where they were arrested for disorderly conduct. A fourth juvenile was arrested for obstructing official business, when he attempted to disrupt an officer's arrest of one of the disorderly conduct suspects.

All four were transported to city jail and charged accordingly.
