Cleveland Police and the FBI are investigating a woman's death after a body was found dumped on Train Avenue on the city's west side early Wednesday morning.
The body was located near West 41st Street.
Sources tell 19 Action News it is the body of missing Cleveland woman, Michaela Diemer. The 31-year-old was last seen near the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Aug. 20.
The body found still has to be positively identified through the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office. The Medical Examiner will also determine a cause of death.
Cleveland Police have a strong interest in the man found driving Diemer's car Tuesday. The man, whose name is not being released, allegedly drove the car to Minuteman Staffing, where they both worked. He was taken into custody on an unrelated warrant. At this time, he has not been charged to Diemer's case.
Officers spent much of Wednesday searching his home on Forestdale Avenue and a vacant home several doors down, where they believe Diemer was murdered.
Neighbors on Forestdale say the man police are questioning has a familiar face, but Diemer does not. However, they say they often saw Diemer's missing car parked in the area.
"I seen the car parked there, but I never knew that was her car or anything like that," said one resident.
The pair also lived at a downtown homeless shelter for a period of time.
