STARK COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

Police say two young boys were at Metzger Park Tuesday evening, when they were asked by a stranger if they wanted a ride.

This happened around 6:00 p.m.

The boys, ages eight and nine, were walking to the restrooms from the soccer field, when the driver of a white passenger transport van, with windows all around, drove near them and asked if they wanted a ride.

The kids ran from the van, which then drove out of the park.

The van was said to have had a number of boxes in the back of it.

Anyone who saw the vehicle is asked to contact Louisville Police at 330-875-1607.
