CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - Three men have been charged in connection with the murder of an innocent woman last weekend at a Cleveland Heights bar, and we've found one man has a history of charges for gunfire at bars.
Cleveland Heights Police in this case have filed charges against Jamahl Drake, Darius Wills, and Anthony Hunt. Drake and Wills are charged with aggravated murder and Hunt is charged with complicity. The Chief says gunfire started after some kind of disturbance at the bar, and there could be more arrests.
We found Drake is now out of jail on bond as he faces charges for gunfire outside two bars in Cleveland Heights back in May. In 2009, Drake was indicted with two other men for a murder inside a Cleveland Heights bar. That murder charge was later dropped.
We found Drake has a record too for battling with police during a large fight. He even has a record for a carjacking when he was 16.
In fact, Drake got arrested by Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Deputies Wednesday when he showed up at the Justice Center for a pre-trial hearing involving that shooting back in May.
