The man accused of murdering a Cleveland woman and dumping her body on the city's west side was arraigned Friday morning.
Ronald Hillman pled not guilty and bond was set at $3 million.
Cleveland Police say Hillman his victim into an empty house and killed her. Her body was found on Train Avenue early Wednesday, Sept. 24.
On Friday, September 26, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office positively identified the deceased woman as 31-year-old Michaela Joy Diemer, of Streetsboro.
Tuesday, Hillman was driving Diemer's car and allegedly drove the car to Minutemen Staffing where they both worked.
Diemer's dad, Andrew, said his daughter had been living in California for four years. She moved back home in early August and was working at several part-time jobs.
Diemer was last seen near the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on August 20.
Mr. Diemer filed a missing persons report on Aug. 24 after contact was lost with her.
He told police that on Aug. 14, he told Michaela she could no longer live at his home, so she left for a woman's shelter.
The last time he spoke with her on Aug. 20, she said she was by the Cleveland Zoo. Additional calls made to her phone go straight to voicemail.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has not yet released the cause of death.
