Edward Crothers was safely located on Saturday, September 27 at 7:45 p.m.

Authorities have released no further information.

The Adams County Sheriffs Office has issued a statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert for 72-year-old Edward Crothers.

Crothers left his home on Bailey Road in Peebles, OH on Friday, September 26 at 9:30 a.m. but was last seen on Saturday, September 27 5 a.m. on I-70 and Miller-Kelton in Columbus, OH.

Crothers is described as a White male, 5'09'', 204 lbs., with brown hair and green eyes.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, grey button up shirt, and Hush Puppies slippers.

Authorities say Crothers suffers from Alzheimer's and other medical conditions.

Anyone who sees Crothers is instructed to NOT approach but to instead call your local police, dial 911 or call 1-866-693-9171.

Crother's is driving a black 2004 Chevrolet S10 with OH plate number DBA1906.
