Elyria Police have arrested the man they say robbed Puffer's Florist on East River Street at gunpoint on Monday afternoon.

Police said they responded to the shop at 2:10 p.m. for the report of an armed robbery.

According to the clerk the suspect entered the business and brandished a black semi-automatic handgun and pointed at the woman working. After the clerk gave him an undisclosed amount of money he fled.

While canvassing the area police learned the name of a suspect, which turned out to be Phillip Boschetti.

The 20-year old did not put up a fight when he was arrested on Broad Street.

Boschetti is charged with aggravated robbery and is being held in the Lorain County Jail.
