Family faces stalking suspect, already convicted of stalking before

A man is facing charges for stalking a family, and we found he's already been convicted of stalking before.

Markquis Hall is due in Cleveland Municipal Court for a hearing Thursday.

A Cleveland grandmother told 19 Action News she has received dozens of threatening text messages. The threats say she will be killed along with her granddaughter and the young girl's son. Even "Anthony Sowell style", referring to the Cleveland serial killer.

The grandmother says she has talked to the suspect and his family and the harassment hasn't stopped.

"I think he needs to go to jail, and then get psychological help 'cause there's obviously something wrong with him," she said.

In the earlier case, Hall was convicted for stalking a girlfriend. And in this case, that grandmother says Hall once was her granddaughter's boyfriend.

Hall finally got arrested in dark clothing at an RTA rapid stop after hours. However, he could get out of jail on bond.

Hall is pleading not guilty to the latest charges.
