Man killed on Cleveland's east side, second man wounded

Cleveland Police are investigating the death of a man on the city's east side.

A 33-year-old man was shot and killed in the area of E. 123 and St. Clair. A second man was also wounded. The shootings happened at 2:30 a.m. Thursday, October 2.

The initial investigation reveals the two victims were walking on E. 123 when they were approached by two unknown men.

The two armed suspects robbed the men, then fired shots.

Both men were hit. The victim was struck in the foot or lower leg. The second victim suffered a shot to the abdomen.

Both were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for their injuries, the second victim died at the hospital.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has not yet identified the man killed.

Officers have made no arrests related to this incident and ask that anyone with information please call police.
