Troopers recover cocaine and marijuana after pursuit on I-76E

MEDINA COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

On Tuesday, September 30, Ohio State Highway Troopers stopped a 2004 Kia Spectra, for a marked lanes violation at 10:30 p.m. on I-76 eastbound, near milepost 2 in Medina County.

Troopers attempted to stop the driver, Donantonio Long, 32, of Akron, when a short pursuit ensued.

Trooper used road spikes to disable the vehicle.

Long was seen tossing out two bags of cocaine during the pursuit, which were later recovered by troopers.

Trooper also discovered a small amount of marijuana.

The recovered drugs were valued at $5,300.

Long was arrested, taken the Medina County Jail and charged with possession of cocaine, a first-degree felony.
