EAST CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

An Ohio Highway Patrol Trooper was arrested and booked in the city of East Cleveland, cited for disorderly conduct.

The trooper, Erick Bullups, is in trouble for his behavior at the Prive Lounge located at 15007 Euclid Avenue.

According to officers, Bullups was allegedly drunk in public, irate, and struggling with security.

A police report says that a weapon was recovered but it is unclear at this time just how it was involved in the incident.

Investigators are still looking at case and then will have it reviewed by the prosecutor's office.

Bullups, who has been a trooper since 2009, was assigned to the Hiram post.

Authorities say he will now be on administrative duty, with no badge or gun.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol will also conduct their own investigation.
