ROCKY RIVER, OH (WOIO) - A man accused of stealing nearly $2,000 in champagne from a Lakewood liquor store is now charged with stealing champagne from a Rocky River grocery store.
According to Lakewood Police Captain Ed Hassin, Coston was waiting to speak to a probation officer at the Lakewood Municipal Court on September 23 when someone recognized him from local news broadcasts.
Authorities state that Coston is currently in police custody with several charges of theft pending.
He is due in court on Monday, October 6, for two charges of theft and one charge of drug paraphernalia. The incidents occurred in February and March 2014 in the city of Fairview Park.
A Rocky River Municipal Court employee confirms that Coston is also facing three charges of theft in Rocky River, which he has has yet to receive a court date set for.
Coston is also facing one charge of theft and one charge of possession of criminal tools in Lakewood.
All charges in each city are misdemeanors.
Coston was identified after he was seen in pictures and surveillance video posted to the Simone's Beverage Facebook page.
