Akron Police say five teenagers, between the ages of 14-16, are facing charges in connection with the carjacking of a 17-year-old girl.
It happened shortly after 7:00 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Girard Street.
The 17-year-old girl told officers four girls and two boys approached her car and asked for a ride.
After she told them 'no', one female grabbed her hair and pulled her out of the car and two other females started punching her.
All the suspects then got into the victim's car and fled westbound towards South Main Street.
On Monday, officers found her stolen car on Shiawasse Avenue in Fairlawn.
Currently, the five juvenile suspects are only charged with receiving stolen property and the robbery remains under investigation.
The victim was not injured.
