The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has now id'd the man found dead after a garage fire early Wednesday morning.
Kevin Watson was found in a car inside the charred garage at 5618 Huss Avenue.
The garage, which sits behind a home, was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived but it did not take long for them to extinguish the fire.
According to neighbors, Watson was having some financial problems and the utilities were shut off inside the home. They believe he may have been living in the garage.
Neighbors stood and stared, stunned they lost a man they say was always friendly.
"He seemed like a nice guy. Always waved, throw up a sign," says James Woods.
Next-door neighbors told us Watson was the homeowner, a man they considered like an uncle.
There is a city inspection sticker dated October 3 on the home stating it was vacant and possibly abandoned.
The fire was fully involved when crews arrived, burning so hot that the siding melted on the garage next-door.
Cleveland Police and Fire are working to determine the cause of the fire.
