WESTLAKE, OH (WOIO) - Almost a month after he and his wife were stabbed, a Westlake man is headed home to recover.
Hospital officials confirm that Kim Jaworski has been discharged from MetroHealth Medical Center after thorough treatment for the August 14 attack.
Jaworski's wife, Carol, was released from the hospital on August 26.
The couple's 22-year-old son, Robert, is the primary suspect in the case and has been charged with attempted murder. He entered a not guilty plea and is being held on a $425,000 bond.
The court ordered a psychological exam to determine if he is competent to stand trial.
The attack happened at the family's home at on Southbridge Drive.
Police say he got rid of the kitchen knife used in the stabbings.
Robert is also charged with two counts of felonious assault and one count of tampering with evidence.
