Game 3 of the American League Championship Series between the Baltimore Orioles and Kansas City has been postponed on Monday due to rain.

It is expected to rain all day Monday in Kansas City. The game will be made up on Thursday's travel day, if necessary. The Royals lead the best of seven series 2-0.

The Royals have yet to lose a playoff game this postseason. They won the wildcard game in extra innings against the Oakland Athletics. They swept the Detroit Tigers in the ALDS who were one of the favorites to win the World Series.

Game 3 will be played Tuesday at 8 p.m.

Game 4 on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

Game 5 on Thursday (if necessary) at 4 p.m.

Game 6 on Friday (if necessary) at 8 p.m.

Game 7 on Saturday (if necessary) at 8 p.m.

Winner of the ALCS will represent the American League in the World Series, and will have home-field advantage because the American League won the All-Star game earlier in the year.
