LAKEWOOD, OH (WOIO) -

The Browns' big win over the Steelers Sunday has set off a new wave of Hoyer-mania.

Browns QB Brian Hoyer is a hometown hero who played his high school football at St. Ignatius in Cleveland.

Now, a local company is showing the local product some love by creating two new Hoyer T-shirts. GV Art and Design is selling T-shirts that say "Brian Cleveland" and "Home Grown Hoyer." The shirts are available on the company's website for $25 or $26.

"The 'Brian Cleveland' one we posted yesterday, and then we got such a great response, and his people were on board to do it, so we launched the 'Home Grown Hoyer,' as well," said Greg Vlosich, of GV Art and Design.

Hoyer and the Browns are off to a 3-2 start this season, sparking a sense of excitement among fans who think this could be the start of a new era for the football team.

"The city is just looking for something, waiting for the teams to do well, especially the Browns," said Vlosich. "So I think any little bit of excitement is just amplified."

Hoyer is in the last year of his contract and he talked a little bit about his plans for the future, and if he could co-exist with Johnny Manziel.

"I don't think I need to say anything more than I'm from Cleveland and this is where I want to be," Hoyer said. "But I'm also a competitor, so I want to be somewhere where I'm playing."
