CINCINNATI, OH (WOIO) - The Cavaliers took their star-studded lineup to Cincinnati on Wednesday night, as they continue their preseason road tour. LeBron James gave the fans exactly what they wanted to see, throwing down a game-high 26 points in just 24 minutes, in a 98-93 win over the Indiana Pacers.
The game wasn't nearly that close while LeBron was on the court, but after he exited in the third quarter, the Pacers mounted their comeback, closing the gap with a torrid fourth quarter, before falling just short against the Cavaliers' backups.
A.J. Price came off the bench to score 14 points against his former Pacer teammates, and Matthew Dellavedova also added 14. Andy Varejao, who banged up his knee in Tuesday's win over the Milwaukee Bucks, sat this one out, although the injury is not believed to be serious.
The Cavs return home to host the Dallas Mavericks at the "Q" on Friday.
