Officials with Hopkins Airport confirmed that United Airlines is dropping four non-stop flights out of Cleveland Hopkins Airport.
Non-stops from Cleveland to Dallas will stop in March of 2015, and non-stops from Cleveland to Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, and Ft. Myers will end in April of 2015.
A spokesperson for Hopkins said they didn't know the explanation behind United's decision.
United sent the following statement;
United will end nonstop service between Cleveland and Dallas, Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale and Tampa because the flights are not meeting expectations. The Dallas service will end effective March 5, 2015, and the Florida flights will end effective April 7, 2015. We will contact customers ticketed on the affected flights to offer re-accommodation on other flights or refunds.
