Reward offered in Parma Heights City Hall arson

PARMA HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - A reward is now being offered for information in the Parma Heights City Hall fire.

The fire at Parma Heights City Hall  has been ruled arson.

The Blue Ribbon Arson Committee offered a reward up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification of the person or persons responsible.

The Cuyahoga County Crime Stoppers and the ATF are each offering a reward up to $2,000, bring the total possible reward to $9,000.

A patrol officer saw smoke coming from the building at 6281 Pearl Road around 3:10 a.m. on November 26. Parma, Brooklyn and Parma Heights Fire helped put out the flames. Parma Heights Fire Chief Bryan Sloan says the fire was contained to the mayor's office, but there is some smoke damage in the rest of the building. 

No one was inside at the time and no one was injured.
