Tremont, OH (WOIO) - Cleveland City Councilman Tony Brancatelli officially started the runners in the second annual “A Christmas Story” 5k and 10k runs, which began at 9 a.m. Saturday on the corner of Ontario St. and Huron Rd.

The 5k run is to A Christmas Story House & Museum in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood on the City's West Side. 

The 10k run is to the house and back.

All the money raised for the event will benefit Tremont-area residents to make repairs to their homes and make neighborhood improvements. “This is a win/win, or, should I say a run/win,” said Councilman Brancatelli.

What: A Christmas Story 5k and 10k runs

When: 9 a.m., Saturday, December 6

Where: Corner of Ontario St. and Huron Rd., on the back side of the Terminal Tower, just outside the Hard Rock Café.
